Chef Merito Seasonings

Ñam, ñam ñam. I love food so much, so I was beyond happy when this small, family-owned seasoning brand asked us to create content. What I loved most about Chef Merito was how naturally they embraced their multicultural, Angelino, Hispanic American identity. This gave me the flexibility to “think” general market and filter that creativity through nuanced Hispanic imagery and language.

¡Sí señor! I write social media captions, too! This brand lends itself to cheeky, punny copy. I don’t get to do that a lot, so I went all in.

And finally, I proposed the development of 15-second sensory cooking clips, where we whet viewers’ appetites by focusing heavily on the auditory experience of cooking with Chef Merito. How much more engagement did we get from this? Eek, not sure, BUT are you hungrier now after watching this?
